Graduation

STATLER GRADUATION:

Statler's 28th Class and STEP's 3rd Class Graduated November 13, 2008

A total of 15 Statler students received Certificates of Completion at a ceremony celebrating everyone's hard work.

Students came from Western New York, Vermont, Conneticut, Florida, and Texas for this class. Ten weeks of learning about all aspects of hospitality, tourism and guest services, with math, writing, public speaking, computer training, and 3 weeks of externships at hotels in the Buffalo area, culminated in a wonderful event.

Student's friends and families, externship hosts (Marriott, Adams Mark, Millennium, Holiday Inn, Indigo, Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Veterans Administration Medical Center), and benefactors honored by Olmsted and Statler joined us in the celebration. The students of the third Statler Training and Employment Program for Telephone Banking Call Center were included.
